Hello,
Can you please suggest me how to set the PDF Export resolution so that the pdf file is not so big? I always have to print as PDF from a pdf converter and it is not helpful if I have to print 15-20 pdfs one after the other.
I get a file for example with standard resolution of 500 Kb and with by printing with 300 dpi, the file has only 9 kb. It will be great if I can set the default resolution as 300 dpi and I do not need to jump through so many windows every time.
Thank you very much for your suggestion in advance.

I don't think the resolution is the problem here. PDF files are not bitmaps but vector graphics files.
There are different ways to store a PDF and some are more compact than others. QCAD uses the Qt framework for its PDF output. You might want to try the PDF output of QCAD 3 RC4 to see if there's an improvement in newer Qt versions. Note that QCAD 2.2 and 3.0 RC4 can be installed in parallel.
