orphaned lines

Post by tyke » Thu Oct 20, 2011 9:14 am

Can a feature be added to highlight orphaned lines.
This would reveal the points where a shape is not a fully enclosed section, for example when one is trying to fill a shape with a hatch.
Currently, the message saying that hatch cannot be completed.

To highlight the point where a contour is not closed:

- select contour
- click hatch button (or type 'ha')
- if contour is closed, the hatch dialog appears
- if contour is not closed, the point where the contour is not closed is highlighted with a blue circle and output in the command line
- as soon as the mouse is moved inside the graphics view, the blue circle disappears
