Auto center function

When working on very large drawings I sometimes have to print only a small section. It would be handy to be able to have the option to apply the auto center function only to the said section.

Sounds good - but how should QCad know what the "said section" is.

Print preview,
One Page,
Move Paper Position to the "said section",
maybe adjust scale,

I agree and definitely need this for some of the plans I work on. See image.

I have previously added a feature request for printing only the selected area in model space.

Forgot to mention my 'workaround'
In model space drag and select with the cursor the area you to print only, Edit > copy this and then paste this in a new drawing!

I do that manually. I drew my section on a new layer, hoping this would do it, but auto center takes the whole drawing, even if everything else is masked. Let's keep that for a future edition, that is not critical!
