I think that it would be nice if you could save drawing as .AI or .EPS or .CDR files.

In QCAD, saving files in either DXF or DWG format will open up in either Adobe Illustrator (AI) or CorelDRAW (CD). You can also export a file to SVG in QCAD - these will also open up in AI and CD.
