Selection - suggestions

For QCAD Pro

1. When entities are selected on a certain layer, it would be good to have the option to maintain that selection when the layer is turned off and on again, I'm thinking a button somewhere.

2.The option to have 'Persistent Selection' via the application settings is good, but in my opinion slightly long winded, because you have to go back to the application preferences to turn it off again. I would prefer a dedicated button for it that could be placed in a toolbar if desired.
