Add Item to menu!

Post by Prostreet » Wed Mar 27, 2024 11:36 pm

I'm probably wrong in stating that QCAD doesn't have an icon command to start "NPOINTS".
I always tap the space bar then type the command in.
I use it quite frequently to divide lines into uniform segments.
Version: 3.29.4.0 (3.29.4)
I would like to ask:
1. Is there a icon in the existing professional version?
2. If no, can it be done and if yes, how hard?
Any and all comments are appreciated.
Thank You.

Yes.
Activate the toolbar for "Points" below:
Menu/View/Toolbars and Widgets/Draw/Points

Place the toolbar where it fits your workflow best.

Btw:
Instead space/commandline/command you could also use direct in an active Modelspace/GUI the shortcut: PN
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
If a thread is considered as "solved" please change the title of the first post to "[solved] Title..."

For sure:

Perhaps you have turned off visibility in Menus, Toolbars and/or the Tool Matrix.
See: menu Edit .. Application Preferences .. General .. Tool Settings
Look up: Draw .. Point .. 'N points on Line' and verify if the visibility is not cleared.
