How do i select a color to draw a line.
in the old version it was easy. But since librecad can not display my large file, i
am giving Qcad a try again.
I am using Mint 17 mate, 64 bit, Linux, operating system. A Ubuntu/Debian distro.

Hi keghn, welcome to the forum.
Main Menu > View > Toolbars > Pen
This will show the 'Pen' toolbar, from here you can set any colour you like to draw with, however best practice would be to set up individual layers and assign Colours, Lineweights and Linetypes to them.
Then for example you could do all your outline drawing on a dedicated layer set up with your chosen properties
*Presumably you have layers set up in your large file>?
