Auto deselecting of lines

Post by keghn » Sun Jan 25, 2015 7:45 pm

When i want to selecting a bunch of lines, one at time, it will not happen. When i select
a second line, the fist will deselect.
Same thing happens when i select patch of features and then select a second patch of
features, the first patch of features deselects.

Is there a way to turn off the auto deselecting?

much appreciate any help.

Click the first line and before you click the next line press and hold the "Shift" Key on your Keyboard. After clicking the line you can release the shift key. This will include or exclude the next clicked line. Play with it ...

Have a closer lock on "Menu / Selected" or switch the Toolbar "Select" visible (Menu/View/Toolbars).
There are many possibility's to choose from.

This is an QCAD Reference Manual Link for an older Version - maybe you like to check it out to have an idea what you can do.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Most of the advanced selection tools offer options to replace the current selection, add to the current selection, remove from selection or intersect with the current selection:
