I am a fashion designer using Qcad to add a 5/8th inch seam allowances around a pattern for clothing. How do do this?? I need to add a 5/8ths inch line around the pieces of a garment so I can cut them properly and have room to sew the pieces of cloth together.
I've attempted this several times and have no clue how to do it. I have drawn dots, but I'm not sure if they are the correct distance. I would greatly appreciate some guidance.
