'LP' Units

Post by bobself » Tue Jul 21, 2015 7:45 pm

Version 3.9.5.0 (3.9.5) with Ubuntu 14.04

I created a drawing with units in feet, but am trying to change it to inches. The change seems to partially work, but if I try to enter the distance of a parallel line (lp), it turns out to be in feet instead of inches. How can I fix this?

Changing the unit of a drawing does not change the geometry of the drawing in any way. A line that was 10 feet before is 10 inches after changing the unit from feet to inches.

If you wish to convert your drawing from one unit to another, you'll have to change the unit and in addition apply a scale operation, in this case, scale the entire drawing by a factor of 12.
