Changing the ruler number format

From a QCAD user:
How can I change the ruler display format from engineering (12.34) to imperial (1'-5/16") units?

First, make sure that your drawing unit is set to Inch under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > General > Drawing Unit

All measurements in QCAD are displayed in the format defined under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Dimension > Dimension Settings > Label Format > Linear Dimensions
