How to set the default value of Linear Factor

Post by Roberto » Sat Nov 28, 2015 1:54 am

I would like to know how to set the Linear Factor. When I go to draw the dimensions its default value is 50 instead of 1, and I must change this value every time I draw a dimension.
Thank you.

Hello Roberto - welcome to the Forum!

With start of any Dimensioning tool an option bar will be shown on top of your drawing. Here you will find the possibility to change the Linear Factor and that is also remembered at the next start of an other dimensioning task or even QCAD.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro

If you cannot solve the problem, please attach your drawing file (DXF, DWG), thanks.

Another issue is how to give the correct dimensions to the characters shown in the measure. they appear very very small.

You can adjust the size of dimension labels, arrows, etc under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Dimension > Dimension Settings
