More Hatch Problems

Post by wayne67 » Thu Dec 31, 2015 12:16 am

Hello,
X_86_64 Linuxmint 17
I am having some more problems with patterns.
They are not large files that I downloaded. To find out
if the problem was with patterns that I downloaded
I took the stars.pat and change the name, both the
header in the file and the file name ti waynet.pat.
To my surprise the file would not show up in the pull
down menu. All the pat files that came with Qcad work.
Here is the file.

The file needs to be in the same directory which is called in the Drawing Preferences ...

... and I assume QCAD needs a restart to read this new file.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Hello,
I double check myself to make sure that the patterns I download
have the same value as the ones that come with Qcad. The ones
I download do not show up in the pull down window. Nor does the one
waynet.pat, I only change the name. Is there anything else I can
try?

P.S.
The instruction I pulled off the net for making
your own hatch patterns, required a new line
at the end of the pattern. However, I notice
that the patterns did not have that. Is this
required in Qcad?
