From a QCAD user:
How can I copy the current mouse position (the X and Y position) to the clipboard?

Such a feature does not exist in QCAD.
However, you could use Info > Position and then copy the output from the command line history to the clipboard:

Hello,
I though I give this command,infopos, a try.
When I enter it I see the coordinates in the workspace
and not in the command line. Do you have a different
version of Qcad?

P.S. I keyed the command in the command line.
