Adding a library item under macOS

From a QCAD user:
How can I create a new library item or save a drawing as a new library item under macOS where the library resides inside the QCAD.app applicaiton bundle?

macOS hides the contents of an application bundle from its users. It is possible to store a file into an application bundle in Finder by right-clicking on the application bundle and choosing "Show Package Contents".

However, its recommendable to create a new folder somewhere with your own library items and add that folder to your part library under Edit > Application Preferences > Widgets > Library Browser:
