When I move the mouse over an entity, the entity disappears. What can I do?

Disappearing entities
From a QCAD user:
Re: Disappearing entities
You are likely referring to the highlighting of the entity that is closest to the cursor.
To indicate which entity is closest to the cursor while selecting an entity, QCAD changes the color of that entity to highlight it. Depending on the entity color and the background color, the entity is displayed slightly brighter or darker.
If you're monitor is on a very low brightness setting or has very low contrast, this effect might perhaps be perceived as "entities disappearing" even though they just change color slightly and are displayed in front of other entities.
You can switch the effect off under:
Edit > Application Preferences > Graphics View > Behavior
Untick the option "Highlight entity within range" all the way at the bottom of the page.
Of course, you will now have no visual feedback about the entity under the cursor.
