Saving part library item

Saving part library item

From a QCAD user:
I cannot create and save new part library items.
When I use Block > Create Library Item and choose the reference point, I get a file save as dialog. After entering a file name, I get this error message:

There seems to be a permission problem. You have likely installed QCAD as administrator and are now using it as another user who does not have write permissions to the program files directory.

Please save the item into a folder in which you do have write permission, such as your home directory.
To make sure the library item shows up in the library browser, you will have to add the directory where you save library items to the list of paths where QCAD looks for such items:
Edit > Application Preferences > Widgets > Library Browser > Library Sources > Add...

After adding a new part library source, you may have to restart QCAD or update the part library index by clicking the synchronise button in the part library browser:
