Opening a dwg file and see huge text and arrowheads.
The dwg file is a FEMA Storm Room. See: https://www.fema.gov/media-library/asse ... 15?id=5788
Huge Text and Arrow Heads
Problem (Screen capture): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B84lO ... authuser=0
Source: http://www.fema.gov/media-library-data/ ... an_rev.dwg
Any ideas on how to fix it?
The workaround I have found is to use Teigha® File Converter to convert from dwg to dxf. See: http://www.opendesign.com/guestfiles/te ... econverter

Re: Text and arrow heads are huge on a dwg
Hello Hypergolic Pop,
all of your links are not working for me - I've not the required permission - access denied
Could you please attach the dwg (or dxf) to this post? Thank you!
Edit: Never mind! By now I was able to download the file directly from fema.gov
They used for the "Dimension Settings" a "Size scale Factor" of 40 - I changed it to 1.
You can find this setting below: Menu: Edit / Drawing Preferences
... and here is my modified file.
Will that work for you?
