When I try to save a file I always get this:
The file format version you are using is not recommended: 'R15 (2000) DXF Drawing (Teigha) (*.dxf)'.
All black entities and layers will be saved as white.
All custom colors will be 'rounded' to the nearest fixed color. Proceed?
How to I get rid of the error/warning?
How do I get rid of this warning message?

you probably have the "save as" in Application preferences configured to R15 instead of the latest format R27

It is configured for R27 (.dxf) format. I don't think that was it (unless it needs to be .dwg).
Re: How do I get rid of this warning message?
Loaded drawings are saved with the same file format version as the original drawing. You can use File > Save As and choose a newer format version to force a format version update.
Re: How do I get rid of this warning message?
That fixed it. I guess that the first save doesn't default to the latest version?
Re: How do I get rid of this warning message?
File > Save never changes the current format version of the file.

Re: How do I get rid of this warning message?
I have tried saving this file as R27 (2013) DXF and that works fine in the current session further saves of the file are saved as R27 etc etc. However if you close QCAD and open a new session with the previously saved file the first save will always result in the error attached message. If you saveas after this then the file will retain the format R27 but only for that session.
The application file load save is set correctly to R27 so that is correct
Thanks Keith
