I am having a problem with the drawing area (including rulers) flashing when I move the mouse around. This is on an iMac 5K (retina) with OS X 10.10.5. I just paid to renew and download/update to the latest version of QCAD Pro (3.10.0.0), hoping this would fix the problem, but it's still there. Is this a known issue? Thanks.

No, this is not a known problem. I have a similar setup here (OS 10.10.5, iMac with retina display).
Please try resetting your configuration:
- Quit QCAD
- Open a Finder Window
- Go > Go to Folder...
- Enter "~/.config/QCAD" (without the ")
- Click Go
- Delete file QCAD3.ini
- Start QCAD
