Position of labels on dimensions

Post by michaelsr » Fri May 16, 2008 10:56 am

Hi - Is there a way to position the dimension labels so that they do not overwrite the dimension line? There does not appear to be any kind of offset.

Thanks,

Michael

You can set up dimension parameters in the drawing preferences (edit menu). You may also want to move the dimension labels in certain situations:

1. select dimension
2. drag and drop blue spot at label position

Thanks, problem solved. I really must open my eyes next time! Completely missed the additional blue dot.
