I have been running 2.2.2.0 on mac G5 with OS 10.5.8.
Lately I have been having problems with crashes and block editing. To be honest, I have only managed to produce a few drawings since starting. Am I or my computer or OS past it?

Mac OS 10.5.8 is rather outdated indeed (2006) and no longer supported by new QCAD releases because it runs on PPC hardware which would require considerable effort to support.
QCAD 2.2.2.0 is the last version to support Mac OS 10.5 but it will not see any updates or fixes anymore from us.
I'm afraid I have no better information for you. Please understand that as a small company, we have to draw the line somewhere to justify the effort it takes to support old platforms.
