Hallo Clive,
if you have a drawing containing several complex objects, how do you select only one without clicking all the lines, circles etc. of it.

Re: Selecting only one object in an array of many
Hi Joren
Either by just clicking on the individual entity or in the case of a 'block' (a grouped set of entities) -you will first need to explode it, to break the block back down into individual entities again.
use either:
1.Select block > Modify > Explode
2.Select block > Block > Explode.
3. Select block > in command line enter > XP
*Note - in some cases a 'whole' drawing made up of lots of things can still be a single block! In this situation again select everything and apply either of the above methods.
[Edit: You can also turn on/off layers as required]
