Hello to everyone in the group,
A few weeks ago I purchased QCAD and I am very satisfied with the program. I use KCAM4 as my CAM program. I use the combination QCAD/KCAM4 for CNC engraving. I designed a plaque using circles with lines as spokes. I used the letter function to depict several formulas and designations. It is saved as a dxf file. KCAM4 has the ability to convert the dxf file to Gcode. The problem is that when the dxf file is converted to Gcode in KCAM4 I lose all the lettering. The circles and spokes appear but no letters. Is there something that I am not doing to the text that is causing this to occur? Any ideas on what the problem is?

Hi Buzz239,
just a guess but have you explode the lettering before you saved it with QCAD? Maybe just give it a shot and try then to convert this new dxf file to Gcode ...
