I prepared some fotos for exposing to paper that I care about. I searched the web for a simple test chart, and did not find, what I was looking for, so I began drawing my own. Not satisfied with the Siemens star, that I could create in inkscape, I launched qcad. Attached the results of my leisurely work. Beware: no colour management, no real resolution measurement. Any printer should recreate this without any artifacts, on the other hand, I don't trust them. I put this into the public domain. Feel free to improve.
PS: The preview was rendered in gimp from an svg exported by qcad (preserve geometry) at 10 MP and then scaled for web.
Update: remade the hatches to equal 50 % halftone when viewed at from far. (Just like the siemens star.)
