Print Preview - I don't get it ...

Post by Husky » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:05 am

I'm always struggling with the Frames for drawings and I don't know why.

My question is: Why has the first Page in the Print Preview an other dimension as the rest of the row ....

For a Letter / Landscape Format (1"=16") is the first page around 164 long - the rest is around 160 ...

I don't get it - how can I make them all in the same size?

The gray lines in the print preview are the paper borders.
The blue lines mark the printable area.

Since the papers are overlapping, the gray line at the right of the blue line is the right border of the paper at the left of the blue line. Since the first paper has no paper at the left of it, there is no overlap there.

To make things easier, simply ignore the gray lines. For most purposes they are irrelevant. You can also hide them in the drawing preferences:

Edit - Drawing Preferences - Printing - Page - untick "Show paper borders"
