Re: Qcad Importing to Sketchup
This can be achived in QCAD by using the Mirror tool - Main Menu > Modify > Mirror ...and follow the prompts.Azz131 wrote:I have done a drawing in Qcad i want it mirrored so they look the same both ends ...
Sketchup is a 3D 'sketch' modelling program, in Sketch-up you can change the views to what plane you need i.e. Top view, side views etc.Azz131 wrote: When i import it to Sketchup they look different
For the best support please state your operating system, QCAD version and add any supporting DXF/DWG files, screenshots etc...
Re: Qcad Importing to Sketchup
Azz131: Thanks for the screenshots. However, the DXF file would be more helpful for testing and helping you with the problem.
If I understand the problem correctly, only the spline at the right is rendered incorrectly by Sketchup. One simple solution would be to explode the splines in QCAD (Modify > Explode), then save again. This will convert the splines into polylines which are generally better understood by applications reading DXF files.

Re: Qcad Importing to Sketchup
Thanks. I've filed a bug report at:
http://www.qcad.org/bugtracker/index.ph ... sk_id=1014
A workaround is also available (reconstructing the mirrored spline).
