Referring to Layer List / Block List: It would improve the workflow if the Delete key on the keyboard would be linked to the minus icon (Delete). The command ER is also ignored in both list.

I suppose ER is reserved for entity based actions (__E__ntity __R__emove).
In the toolsettings ER is linked to the delete and the backspace Key.
Removing a block in selection is BR (__B__lock __R__emove).
Removing a layer in selection is YR (la__Y__er __R__emove).
With your proposal,
when a block is selected in the block list,
and a certain layer in the layer list,
and an entity in the block ...
... how to distinguish what the 'Delete' would remove?
