While editing a spline with fit points, I accidentally moved a fit point on top of another fit point, which locked up the software (grayed out, not responding). I had to ctl / alt / del and end task to resolve.

Paul,
Could you provide more info? What OS?
Is it reproducible? Could you include an example file?
I can't replicate this in QCAD PRO 3.27.6.0 nor in 3.27.8.0
Duplicate fit points are allowed on creation and I can drag any fit point to sit on top of any other fit point.
Although one can not break that up anymore, two to more fit points that coincide can only be picked in group.
All apart from the fact that snapping to a fit point is not indicated as 'reference' but as 'intersection'.
