Just purchased / not functional / incorrect size / dimensions needed are 8'-1" and 11'-10"

Hi,
Rectangle with Size (RS)
In the Options Toolbar:
Polyline or not
No fill, No radius
Width .. enter 8'1" literal (=97in)
Height .. enter 11'10" literal (=142in)
Angle zero
Ref.point Bottom left
Create at origin and all seems to be fine.
Perfectly functional and with the correct size.
Please elaborate on your method.
Remark that 8'-1" is a subtraction ...
