I can not add or remove Points to existing Spline

Adding / removing fit points is only available for splines that are created from fit points, not for splines from control points.

CVH 2023-11-14

You could use Misc .. Store positions.
See App.Prefs for storing all nodes.
Copy the data from the Command Line History to add or delete nodes and recast the spline with the altered data.
The Command Line accepts pasting a list of coordinate pairs.
