Re: Colors
I'm using recent version of files at least if I can rely on QCAD 2 original files. QCAD 3 manages its format. As Black and custom colors are "auto corrected" de facto each time I save a Q3 file, I can't work on my drawings with QCAD rc5 with enough reliability. Standard non Black/White colors are th...

Re: Visibility of selected layer name in layer list
Could be. However I don't remeber having this issue with other application programs. It's just a little bit too shadowy  At least with Q2, the line of the selected layer was always visible with White text on Blue background (at least on my Win 7 64 bits Home Premium French/Belgium PC), even wh...

Re: Coordinate values
When are these coordinate changes happening? As soon as I opened a copy of a Q2 file withQ3. ...I can imagine that the inaccuracy was already present in the QCAD 2 file Actually, most of my values were typed as integer, some times at most with 2 decimals. If I change in Q3 a value like "281,999967"...

Re: How to type coordinates when pasting with references.
I just checked : 1. I didn't change " the default format used when choosing a dot at the first start " (The only change there was selecting a white background, but this gives unacceptable results and I'm introducing a "CRITICAL" bug report as I can't any longer work on my drawings). 2. Q2 used "," a...

Re: Coordinate values
To-day, I was again logged off while typing my reply... But now as I saved my text, I could paste it in a new reply. Then I used the "Save Draft" button but now I have to investigate where to retrieve it (or delete it as I can again paste my text). I'm replying to Andrew comments on coordinates in ...

How to type coordinates when pasting with references.
In QCAD 2, when I cut some entities with references, I can very easily enter the coordinates of the reference point where to paste the cut entities : I press the space bar and in the command line juste type "981,1100" [Enter] and it's OK  With Qcad 3, I follow the same steps but it's not OK :x ...

Visibility of selected layer name in layer list
Is there a way to make the selected layer more visible? Currently, the lock and eye in pale blue are very minimalist! The blue shade visible when hovering over the layer name is by far easier to detect. If this shade could be permanent, it would be nice and useful, IMHO.

Drawing file size
The first drawing had a size of 819 Kb in QCAD 2 and now 1.584 Kb after only one action : show all layers. Nearly twice the size !

Colors
Yesterday, I thought I could manage correctly the colors of my drawing. To-day, after opening a new session, all my "Black/White" layers are back to white and hatch area have colors with some variations. I spend nearly 2 hours restoring correct values. I would appreciate if a next release of QCAD wo...

Coordinate values
Apparently, QCAD 3 converts some coordinates to different value. All my drawings are in millimeter drawing and paper units and I usually specify coordinates with integer values in Q2, like Start Point : X=300 Y = 200 and End Point : X=300 Y =3110. Now this same line, unmodified, gets the following c...

About hatching, I would appreciate some means to check the directions of the elements of a contour, especially when some elements are arcs. Checking the directions is confusing, at least for me. It seems that the arcs cannot be with "Reversed = false". I'm never sure of their direction by defining s...

Thank you Andrew for your answer. I select the ellipse then ==> Modify ==> Explode... When I select the ellipse with "Select contour", the ellipse is not selected at all and the command line shows : selectcontour Entity must be an Atomic Entity. But selecting the ellipse by the standard way allows t...
