Re: Feature Request. Circuit-Type Hatching.

This is extremely tedious especially if you need to use a small bit and therefore dense hatch. Yep - tell me. Question: Why has it to be under a 45 degree angle? BTW: QCAD provides already a solution for limited cases. Maybe a little step in the right direction? Not tapered, not under an 45 degree ...

Is there enough difference to make it worth while to update?
That is something what you have to decide by yourself

Re: Understanding differences in blocks, templates and how they appear in different block "spaces"

Ok, let say we have to scale it 1:2.5 to fit on a letter sized paper ... To make it easy: Delete in Model_Space the already inserted "Title block", Block List --> insert Block_1 with a scale of 2.5, place it in Model_Space, launch Print Preview, switch color mode to Black/White, set the scale to 1:2...

Re: Understanding differences in blocks, templates and how they appear in different block "spaces"

Hi, looks like you have already everything what you need. Basically you need to insert the blocks from the Block List into the Model_Space. Keep in mind: If you intent to print with a scale of 1:10 then you have to compensate the Paper_Frame etc with a counter-scale factor of 10. What is your intend...

Assuming you are on a Windows OS ...

Download the zip,
save it do your download folder,
extract the downloaded zip,
copy/move the extracted files to that QCAD folder, keep an eye on what belongs into the imperial or metric folder ...
Restart QCAD, check "New from Templates".

Re: Scaling a whole drawing

Hi, I would like to draw something which is 6m by 8m and I would like it to fit on an A4 page with all the text and dimensions correctly displayed and in the correct places. In CAD it is common practice to draw everything 1:1. Scaling is done within the printing step. Go ahead with a new drawing, se...
