Re: cutter jumps at multipoint objects

The circle shaped polyline has some duplicate nodes (to be precise, very small or zero sized arc segments). To get rid of these tiny segments, proceed as follows: - Select polyline - Modify > Explode - Modify > Detect Zero-Length Entities - Click Delete button in options toolbar at the top - Right-C...

Re: Extending class RLineEntity

So with your response to add new properties to RObject or REntity, I comeback to my question, have I to purchase C++ licence for doing that ? Ideally, you can create all your extensions as a plugin which can be distributed under any license of your choice without the need for a QCAD C++ Libraries l...

Re: Extending class RLineEntity

That's why I think I'll need to add my new properties by C++. There is no difference if you add properties using the ECMAScript interface or C++ (ECMAScript calls into C++). QCAD supports custom string type properties to be attached to all objects (entities, layers, blocks). If this is not sufficie...

Re: Script Shell. How to repeat last command? Variable scope

[list]1.- Is there some way to get last line entered? Yes, arrow up should do this but is currently broken due to implementation of arrow up shortcuts to pan zoom. 2.- I'm trying to use Script Shell to define or modify variables directly in QCAD interface. I use that variables in scripts located in...

Re: Dimension text size and arrow for imported drawings, way too small.

It is possible to "embed" somehow this commandline option into Qcad? No. Also seems that for the imported files, even using the command-line switch recommended by you, if I draw new dimmensions seems to use the Text height Size of 0.18 in the "DrawingOptions/Dimension/Dimension Setti...

Re: Qcad 3.7.1 fails to launch

What's your macOS version? Please note that QCAD 3.7.1 was developed in 2014 and might or might not work on more modern platforms.

I will also e-mail you information about updating your version.

You might have to remove the cache of the help tool. Delete directory:

Re: NCP on eckert jantar 2

Postprocessors are stored in directory "postprocessors" of your QCAD/CAM installation. These are JavaScript files which can be adjusted to do anything that can be done using a programming language. So it really depends a lot on the desired output format, what needs to be adjusted and how.

Re: How can I change my keyboard layout?

This is probably a bug in either Qt, Unity or a combination of the two. If you can provide additional information on how to reproduce this, I can look into it. Think of screenshots of your keyboard settings, do you use multiple layouts and switch between them, what are your locale settings (type loc...

Re: Unable to print in Qcad.

As you can see in your last screenshot, the paper (white) is nowhere to be seen. It's actually somewhere in the lower left corner:

Re: dwg2pdf scaling to fit on Windows

Thanks. As far as I can tell, this has been fixed for the next release. Attached is the output of the current development version:

dwg2pdf -a -f -block="*Paper_Space" -m 2 -landscape -p "ANSI C" -o custom.pdf custom.dxf
