Re: Exploding Splines

Presumably, you are referring to "output splines as splines or arcs". That's exactly the same that QCAD does when exploding splines, i.e. creating exactly tangentially connected bi-arcs.

Re: How do I transfer line thickness when scaling + how do I get the right size when printing?

1)The outer shape of every logo is a circle. How do I print it on A4 paper with exact radius of 18cm? Even if I scale it to radius 18cm and use scaling 1:1 it is always 2 or 3cm bigger For all support requests, please: - indicate the operating system you are using and the version thereof (e.g. Wind...

Do you know any script which compromises on tangency?
Unfortunately not, no.

Or could this be a »checkbox-option« for future releases?
We don't have any plans in that direction. Perfect tangency (smoothness) is usually the deciding factor for choosing splines..

Re: Exploding Splines

The eMachineShop algorithm compromises on tangency. I.e. you are getting 'corners' at nodes and the curve is no longer smooth. It's quite possibly the simplifying step that does that. QCAD does not have a simplification algorithm that compromises on tangency.

Re: QCAD manual / handbook / book

The electronic user manual is indeed not intended for printing. Printing the complete reference manual is generally discouraged (you can browse and search it using the integrated help viewer). If you really want to print the whole manual, here's an (unofficial) single file compilation: HTML: http://...

Re: Add "Linear factor" & "Scale" to angle dimension

The scale property has been added for angular / arc dimensions for the next release.
The linear factor property only makes sense for linear dimensions.

Re: Multi-page output from dwg2pdf

we still have need for multi-page output in a single PDF. Do you intend to scale a drawing to an array of multiple rows/columns of paper to later stitch together or do you want to output individual blocks, one per page? In the latter case, you might want to produce multiple PDF files and later conc...

Re: Is QCAD/CAM an upgrade?

Today I ordered and download QCAD Professional. But there is no CAM module present. How to get the add-on? I cant't find a link. Do I have to order also for € 89 QCAD/CAM? QCAD/CAM is a separate product, based on QCAD with added CAM functionality. I've sent you an e-mail with upgrading information.

Re: Old reference point

It's the relative zero point. The point which relative coordinates refer to. Setting the relative zero position manually: http://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/reference/en/index.php?page=scripts/Snap/SetRelativeZero/doc/SetRelativeZero Using the relative zero: http://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/reference/en...
