Re: Got QCAD community source compiled in QT4 but ...

If someone else has already done this port, it'll be great that they own up now so that I won't be wasting my time. There are no working ports I'm aware of, but kad, especially kde4 version (kde port of qcad) might have some useful snippets. http://git.tuxfamily.org/kad/kad?p=gitroot/kad/kad.git;a=...

But that's great someone has done something. If all would join together we would have excellent product.

It seems we're never going to get a new version of Community Edition, so someone else needs to port it to qt4. Actually I have such port, but it doesn't do anything useful yet.

This seems to be difficult question, since no one elsa hasn't answered. I think the only way is to use ellipses.

Some 3d application would be better though.

Did you try Modify->Scale? The trick seems to be to get image selected. I used select window over the whole image.

Erraneous lines are on these drawings are caused by bad usage of hatches. I think one hatch/solid fill should only cover one continuous area.

Hatcing isn't perfect in community edition but I think this is a user error.

Re: [patch request] wrong style of dash dot lines

All lines are solid in the created file "print.ps". The line pattern has disappeared. The line pattern is there, but it is very small scaled. Longer lines seem to be 0.24mm long and short ones, umm, very small :) The rendering method used for display makes the scale look bigger but zoom in to see w...

This is probably caused by same nasty memoryleak that causes camexpert demo segfault when drawing polylines.

Re: new release of the source code

when will there be a new release of the source code? since the version 2.0.5 was released on 2005/07/20 and in the meanwhile qcad pro got many new features and bugfixes. This is the same thing I'm wondering. Community edition is quite old and based on qt3.x. And I really think we should abandon in ...
