Re: Loosing Command Line Usage.
Yeah, "Auto Snap" , what a great help that is ! precision is only a snap away ! I like it. I'm still plodding along in the book and trying my own test dwg's. as I go, and just having a ball with this. I should go over the snapping section again and make up a cheat sheet with all those shortcut keys....

Re: Loosing Command Line Usage.
Yes, WOW ! , as I move forward now, on the learning curve, I realize even more how much better things are working. example; I found / (learned) that I can initiate 'snap-to' (whatever) commands 'on-the-fly' (if you will) where, in my QCAD's previous state, this was not possible, unless I left-clicke...

Re: Loosing Command Line Usage.
Thanks, I uninstalled QCAD totally, including any preference files, even that config .ini thing. There were even some hidden QCad files that I found and trashed. I Re-Installed QCAD, did some testing, and every thing seems much smoother now. :) Perhaps simply Re-Installing, was the key after all. I'...

Re: Loosing Command Line Usage.
Discovery; I found that by using "Reset/Idle" (only from the pull-down Edit Menu) allowed me to enter commands again into the command line. (I was Not locked out anymore) So this did help. And also, even though I still could/can not delete objects with my delete keys, I found that I am able to selec...

Re: Loosing Command Line Usage.
Tried that too, many times, does not help. Only thing that seems to help is to save/reload file, then it's OK, for a while… then, bang, stuck again… I will add this… I can draw many, many lines & rectangles and things are fine with that, but if I use the 'draw parallel with distance' tool it starts ...

Greetings
Hello, from Long Island, NY :!: Of the many CAD software possibilities I have explored, QCAD has already found a home in my design work flow. Being involved in the home building trades as a craftsman, and a generally 'Artsy-Crafty' kind of guy, I often find myself needing a detailed and precise plan...
