Re: drawing thread on end of spindle
Hi Andrew,
I have a shaft and I want to thread the smallest journal on the end of this shaft.
More correctly I want to draw the shaft with a thread on the end of it, much like the bolt shown.
Thanks.
Regards,
Kevin

Re: How to move Origin away from LH lower point of drawing?
Thanks Andrew. Easy when you know how. I don't think I have ever used a small CAD package that has been easier to use, I have done a bunch of small drawings. I have never used construction lines and "set parallel line to present line" so much ever before either. Such tools are fast for this style of...

How to move Origin away from LH lower point of drawing?
How to move Origin Point away from LH lower point of drawing.
Where in manual will I find this operation?
Basically I want to put 20 mm between drawing and origin.
I am clearly not looking in right place.
Thanks

Thanks,

Re: Nag text removal
Woops.
The QCAD I am using is:
Version: 3.9.1.0 (3.9.1)
Build Date: Mar 13 2015
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Compiler: MSVC++ 10.0 (2010)
Perhaps I have the wrong one?

[solved] Nag text removal
I just started to use QCAD and have a simple question.
I am using Win 7/32 bit OS on Toshiba Satellite Pro.
QCAD works great and fast.
I have removed add-ons, but the text did not disappear. Please see attached pic.
Thanks,
Kevin
