Re: Round Arc
Well, I learnt this sort of drafting in college, but I'm having trouble finding a job which utilises these skills, so I prefer to keep my skills sharp by doing some casual drawing in my own spare time. I do use some sources which are mostly from http://www.barrowmoremrg.co.uk/Prototype.html which wo...

Re: Round Arc
Thank you for posting the fixed version, and yes, it does solve that problem and only that problem (by getting you to do it for me), but I don't think that doing stuff for me is good for me in the long term when I may need to do this again.

Re: Round Arc
Say, my blueprint's nearly finished, the last problem I'd like to solve would be this single problem, but I'd really like an answer to my delima.

Re: Round Arc
Yeah, something like that.
The radius size is 0.2 (I tried 0,2, but it ended up making the radius 2 which is too big, it also was 0.15 / 0,15), both the 0.2 and 0,2 ended up with the same result though.

Re: Round Arc
Yeah, I exploded only one corner to test if it worked, unfortunately, I keep getting the "The two entities cannot be rounded". Error message, which I keep on getting.

Re: Round Arc
Hey there.
Alright, but it will look a little busy with all of the construction lines (stitches / guides) that I've placed to create an accurate blueprint.

Re: Round Arc
Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried to explode the elipse, as shown here:
Unfortunately, it says "The two entities cannot be rounded."

Round Arc
Hey there.
I have another problem, how do you round an arc intersecting an elipse? I kinda need to make a transition curve between the elipse and the arc here shown by the blue entities:

It's greyed out for me and I can't seem to unlock it.
Edit: Never mind, thank you.

Re: Non-uniform scaling (scaling along 1 axis)
That video's quite hard to follow especially without annotations / sound. My problem is basically this: http://i.imgur.com/HMXc4PL.png What the diagonal line to the bottom right denotes, is whether the width of the front view matches the width of the front view. http://i.imgur.com/F7whvdV.png But he...

Non-uniform scaling (scaling along 1 axis)
Hey there. There's a problem with the inability to scale along a certain axis. The problem originates from trying to convert bitmap into a vector format (I've found .dwg and .dxf file formats suitable file types as they preserve dimensions). During the conversion, there's normally 3 projections, the...
