I am experiencing problems converting a .dxf drawing to .pdf tonight.
When I do it, the result is just a blank document.
It formerly works fine.
What could I be doing wrong, can someone please advise?
Edit:
Problem solved, I had the incorrect scale chosen in print preview.

Re: Problem persisting.
....................... Ok, please let us do a last test: Open QCAD CE, toggle the visibility of the "Status Bar" (Menu/View/Status Bar) which will be displayed at the bottom of the Model_Space. Remember the new Status (Visible or invisible), close QCAD CE, launch QCAD CE again. Will QCAD Start wit...

Re: Unable to change background colour.
I have tried changing it in both "Drawing Preferences" and "Application Preferences" without success. You are only able to change the Background color within "Application Preferences". If that doesn't works then I would recommend to de-install / new instal QCAD. Assumably the less Headaches route ....

Unable to change background colour. (unsolved - re-installing Qcad)
I have installed Qcad into my laptop computer. Using Linux Mint 19 I removed the plugins to retain only the community version. I have done this before on both my desktop computers successfully. All good, except that I now cannot change the page background colour. I have tried changing it in both "Dr...

Re: Freeze up when adding text. (solved)
Could be Linux Mint 19. What version are you running? Regards, CVH Thanks for the reply CVH. However, I have solved the problem. For the record, I am running Qcad version 3.22.1 Linux always receives suspicion for what most times is found to be operator error/ignorance (as in this case), or some pr...

Re: Freeze up when adding text.
No problem with Win10 .... This happens only with a specific text font or with all offered text fonts? I will investigate further with hope I can answer that. Thanks for the reply Husky. I just tried a couple more fonts with the same result. If I adjust the font in the top right tool bar, it works ...

[solved] Freeze up when adding text.
I have experienced this problem for some time now. Whenever trying to add text to a drawing, the system freezes up. I am using Linux Mint 19. Is there something I am not doing or doing wrong that can address this problem? Or is this a known general problem that can be fixed otherwise? Please advise,...

Re: Dimension abberation mystery. (solved).
I found that; it seems that is all it was. The scale was defaulting to something other than 1:1.
I expect to be able to avoid the problem in future.
Thanks again Husky.

Re: Dimension abberation mystery.
Please check the "Linear Factor" for each dim within the Property Editor. They are identical? No, they were not identical. I changed the larger one back to 1 (both are 1 not) and that fixed the problem. Thanks. However, when I draw in another dimension, it defaults back to the same situation. I hav...

Dimension abberation mystery. (solved).
I went back to a previous drawing and planned to scale the airfoil section in it to a new size.
The dimensions of the archived drawing and the new dimensions differed wildly, with no apparent relationship.
Why is this happening?
What can I do to correct it?
Screenshot attached.
