Re: Newbie considering buying professional, with questions
As you may have seen on my post back to Andrew, I went ahead and bought the professional version. I'll see how it goes with the default setup. I plan to keep this version unless there's an update that is significant, and doesn't change a bunch of the existing stuff. Back when I was working full tim...

Linux OS and Windows OS Themes
These themes will display correctly in Linux and Windows only, MacOS has serious issues with them which renders it useless. All new themes and updates will be posted as attachments in this post only. Please feel free to adapt the themes to suit your own OS's theme should you so wish. Also let me kno...

Re: Alternative Linux themes
Wow, that's actually not that bad, and I might be able to fix the right hand vertical bar without affecting Linux. Not sure about the other two areas, but I'll have a look.

Re: Alternative Linux themes
Yeah I might be able to see if I can fix it, bit tricky not having a Win10 box though. Would it be OK to send you direct if I think I can fix it for you to try? The problem could be that a fix for Win10 might mean it breaks in Linux, but we'll see.

Re: Alternative Linux themes
Oh oh - I installed it on Win10. I'm now in trouble???   And it looks already pretty good. Ok, not perfect but good. Thanks! I built in a virus for Win10, hasn't it activated yet :?: :?:   Sounds like it's not as bad as on macOS, what kind of imperfections are they?

Re: Alternative Linux themes
I've made a few minor revisions to the Heather, Coffee, Light Grey and Dark Grey themes. Simply overwrite any you are using with those in the attachment. I've also added an enhancement to the Default theme, it gives a more tactile feel. To use it simply extract the Default folder in the attachment t...

Alternative Linux themes *SUPERSEDED*
This topic is going to be locked and will be superseded by the Linux OS and Windows OS Themes topic at https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=7994&p=31280#p31280 I blame this on the lock down !! I've put together a few custom QT stylesheets that give new theme options for QCAD. Please not...

Re: problem with custom stylesheet.css file
I'm afraid, I'll have to pass on that one. As you might have noticed, the latest version of the dark QCAD theme uses a plugin instead of stylesheets. The plugin only adjusts the palette without applying styles. Styles tend to mess things up (apply one single style and the whole widget looks totally...

problem with custom stylesheet.css file
This might be one for Andrew. I've been piecing together my own stylesheet.css file to better mimic my Linux theme. I'm pretty happy so far, but I've come up against a bit of a brick wall. In the QWidget section shown below I'm using qlineargradient for the main background, but it doesn't paint all ...

Re: Can i Modify the Dark Theme?
could the option to 'blend in' with the system theme be integrated in a future update Andrew, or is that simply not possible, for whatever reason.
