You might want to choose a different (darker) alternating color under:
Edit > Application Preferences > Widget > Layer List
well that was quick and easy, I'd trawled through preferences as well, obviously not well enough!

Thanks Andrew for the quick response

Re: Add Javascrpt for text along curve

TG command is not listed in the manuals, nor in the submenus, nor is there a reference that can be googled. It has been quite a mystery. TG is the shortcut for the Text Along Entity command, you can also type textalong in the command line. This may be a Pro command, are you using Pro or Community e...

Re: Arc Length Dimension Tool

Just tried ver 3.24.3.10 and I can use dimarclength as expected by selecting an arc. Looks like a bug in 3.25.

Re: Arc Length Dimension Tool

I'm using ver 3.25. On opening the drawing I can select an arc and deselect it, I select dimarclength icon, the dimarclength icon shows as the active tool, after that I can't do anything. Pressing ESC has no effect, can't deselect, I can select another command, eg aligned, and the aligned icon shows...

Re: Updated beta 0.41 FlexPainter beta 0.34

Flexpainter really is a work of art CVH and a credit to your scripting skills. It also shows just how powerful Qcad is, and can be, with clever scripts like this.

I could play with it all day, the curtain rope fascinates me

.......Coded some clouds painters.
Will be included in a next release.

Regards.
CVH
Was this ever included ? I can't see a cloud option in the Painter options dialog box.

Andrew, which files exactly are they ?
libQt*
libicu*
plugins/imageformats
plugins/printsupport
plugins/sqldrivers
plugins/xcbglintegrations
platforms/*
platforminputcontexts/*
thanks for that Andrew, unfortunately Qcad will not fire up after removing those files

.....You could also try to remove the Qt libraries from your QCAD installation directory, so your system libraries are used instead.

Or you could use the very efficient two letter shortcuts ("IP" for this tool):
