Thanks for the reply but I am not following. The drawing units is inches and I would like the dimension tool to display in milimeters

I have a drawing that is in inches and I would like to display mm when using the dimension tool. I have tried to change drawing units in drawing preferences and application preferences with no luck.

I have come to like using the block feature but I have not been able to figure out how to ungroup parts. Can someone provide some guidance?

I am trying to nest parts for my CNC and I would like to know if I can rotate "freehand" vs using the RO function and typing the exact degrees to rotate?

I converted a PDF to DXF so I can cut the project out on my CNC rather than using a hand jig saw. The perimeter of each part is thousands of small lines. Is it possible to group/merge the pieces to one line?

I use Autodesk ACAD Electrical at work and with that I can grab a line and start to move it then type the distance on the keyboard to move a specified amount. Is this possible with QCAD? Or how do I draw a line a specific length without depending on grid snaps?

This happens every time I open one of the DXF I have from the same person.
This happens on both of my W10 64Bit pc

When I open DXF files that were created in solid works the lines are VERY thick and when I use the dimension tool the font is also thick so the numbers are not readable. Can anyone help me with the command or preference to change this?
