Re: Contour Elevation Data

Thanks for the exsample drawing. Here the bad news: That is a plain 3D drawing and not meant to be proceed in QCAD. Surprisingly I can open it in QCAD but that is more luck than anything else ... The good news is that I can read the stored values for elevation .... Husky-2019.09.05-04.png ... and se...

Re: Contour Elevation Data

Hi, While testing the trial version when I selected a contour I was only given an X and Y dimension in the properties toolbox. QCAD is a straight 2D CAD program and has very limited abilities to show z dimension. But for those cases you can activate the Z coordinates within the Property Editor. Husk...

Re: Adding a fillet to an elipse.

When I click on the ellipse I get the message "entity is not a line, arc or circle". Is it possible to do this? I need to be able to hatch the result. The tool is expecting a line, arc or circle for proper operation. If you click an entity and it isn't one of those you get that warning. Is it possi...

Re: Trim question

@ Panchdara In RobB case I think he is looking to remove the line. Means "check the box" for removing the segment. In other cases it could be useful to keep the segment. e.g. if you need that segment but you have to change the attributes with a different layer. One example could be a cylinder behind...

Re: Trim question

Try Menu / Modify / Break out Segment and click on the part of line which has to go ....

Edit: Forgot to mention that in the Option bar "Remove Segment" has to be ticked.

Re: Blocknamen werden geändert

@ CHV It seems that DXF version R9 that is used stores the blocknames a uppercase. That would make sense - thanks for the hint. I missed that. Can't remember anybody is still working with the file format R9 ... Die ttest.dxf is...

Re: Blocknamen werden geändert

Ok.
