Re: cxf fonts

You can see what CXF fonts you have in the fonts directory of your QCAD installation (Standard, Greek*, Roman*, Italic*, Unicode, ...).

CXF fonts can be loaded and edited as drawings in the current snapshot release (3.22.0.8).

Re: QCAD API get coordinates and MergeDrawings.js

Yes, that's possible.

Code: Select all

// the bounding box of a drawing document (doc):
var bbox = doc.getBoundingBox();

// center of bounding box:
var center = bbox.getCenter();

Is that with an empty file or with a particular drawing (in the latter case, please attach)?

We're currently using a combination of src2srcml and XSLT to create script bindings automatically.

Re: Set min. line thickness when using dwg2pdf

Yes, the value is in drawing units, not paper units. 0.5mm in drawing units are wider when zoomed in.

This might change in a future version to define a minimum lineweight independent of the zoom level.

Re: Ignore objects not displayed by Autodesk TrueView

%% is usually used as escape code for the diameter symbol (%%c), degree symbol (%%d), plus/minus (%%p) or to toggle underlining (%%u). Apparently "%%" by itself should be rendered as nothing at all. This will be fixed for the next version. I'd also recommend to clean up these things in drawing files...

Re: Where is the source code of offset function?

If you are referring to the polyline offset tool, this is part of QCAD Professional and not open source. See also https://www.qcad.org/en/documentation/features

Re: Debug output

Assuming you're on Windows.

You'll have to stream the output to a file to view it:

Code: Select all

qcad.exe 1>log 2>&1
cat log
Windows applications cannot show a GUI and output to the console.
