Re: Exporting SVG to produce a small drawing size

Hello, I explain my problem: 1 - Export to SVG drawing A4 2 - Insert the SVG file in Inkscape or Scribus and the drawing is very small and thicknesses are huge. If I open the SVG file with a text editor to see the size of the drawing is 22mm x 17mm: <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?> <svg width...

Nested blocks are currently not supported by QCAD. When will there be support? With this tool could divide my architecture project in blocks (drawings [1]) and sub-blocks (objects). All the objects could manage with layers (for levels [2]) --- [1] Example: architectural plan, plumbing plan, etc. [2...

I have a similar problem with ATi card. The solution was to change the 3D acceleration to XAA in xorg.conf.

Code: Select all

Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"

In fact if it works. What is annoying to see the list of blocks I go to original drawing.

I hope this will be solved soon.

Thank you.

I have a doubt about using the list of blocks.

Hello. I have a doubt about using the list of blocks.

When editing a block the block list is empty. This happens even if the block containing blocks.

The only problem is the list of blocks: Switching off a block in the original design, it turns off in the block that I am editing.

Greetings.

Re: Pages, paperspace and viewports in AutoCad

How to insert drawings? There is no menu "import". The way that I know is: copy and paste or save it in the library of objects and to insert the object. Yes, I create blocks. Either I create the block and then copy and paste the drawing into the empty block, or I set my library path to the folder w...

Re: Pages, paperspace and viewports in AutoCad

The way I do the same thing in Qcad is to create separate drawings, with different dimension and text sizes. Then I have to explode the dimensions. I then "Import" each drawing onto one blank drawing with a title block drawn at a scale of 1:1, scaling each block separately so that they are correctl...

One possible solution

I want to know whether it is possible to place a text that shows the value of the coordinate (in x) . If this is possible, Drawing a block to the levels accumulated in x and one for the levels accumulated in y http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/gTy7PHUzuzg2sbgwyrbvoA?authkey=FwtBimo82vw&feat=embed...

No
Sorry for my insistence.
Is there a list of changes planned for the next version?

Thanks,

Re: Maximum file size

The program locked up when I tried to use a External Reference (used it as a block like was mentioned in a different topic) that had about 40 layers. However a XREF with only 20 layers seemed to work fine, but made the operations a bit laggy. Thanks How Xref inserted? I tried to insert a file (a.dx...
