Re: Drawing lines

If I make layer 0 hidden, and layer 1 active, I cannot draw a line on layer 1. I get a message telling me to check block recursions or hidden layers or blocks. If you get this message that means you are trying to draw on an invisible, frozen or locked layer. Make sure that layer 1 is visible, thaw,...

Re: Multiple views

I can't seem to figure out how to get multiple views. Like X, Y, and Z views. Not sure what do you mean  but ... ... two things what I can think of. 1. You have a First / Third-angle projection with a Front / Side and Top view and you like to have them each in a window. That is what you can a...

Re: Tangential Arc drawing off of another arc.

Hi,

I would use the "Round" tool,
launch the tool,
first arc R=3 - NO trim (trim depends on the situation!)

Re: Unable to open QCAD

Hi - welcome to the QCAD Forum, Do I need to delete the trial version first? or something else? You could keep both versions on your system but never mix versions in the same directory. Make sure the pro is installed in a new or empty subdirectory and it should work as expected. Keep us poste...

Re: Black and White color

Have you ever notice that before? Not as a compatibility issue ... In order to work at other CAD systems, Black/White color has to be set as "color #7", and not RGB=255,255,255 or RGB=0,0,0. I'm sure you have to deal with this issue right now but that is not a common compatibility issue. A color co...

Re: Black and White color

Have you tried to change the Color Adjustment settings below Graphics View /Appearance ?

"Prevent white on white / black on black display" could solve your issue:

Re: Possible Bug in 3.23.0.0 - Create Block from Selection/Block Insert

Hi 52buickman - welcome to the QCAD Forum, I've problems to reproduce the issue. One example - I don't know what you mean with: I discovered that a layer (in this case only one layer was used) used by the selection going to the new block was in edit mode. Layer was in edit mode? Howsoever - could yo...

I have absolutely no idea where to go from here!! Lol.
If you can't find the setting in your current pdf reader which could (?) cause the problem then just download an other free pdf reader from the www. Do not change the default settings and print the pdf. See what happens ...

What PDF reader did you use?
I checked different reader - none of them had a problem with your pdf. I'm on Win10.

... but when I print from the PDF it just prints a black rectangle where the logo should be. This is a problem to me as I will frequently send PDFs to customers.
I printed your pdf without any problems. Please doublecheck your pdf reader (?) settings to print a pdf.

Re: Dimensions displayed

Anyway, taking into account the point of view of the user, the information displayed is not correct. It is correct but you should consider why it is handled that way. First of all - I can't reproduce with common practice why your angle is off by 0.000002 degree. It could be a result of a rotation, ...

Re: Dimensions displayed

Since I assume your whole drawing isn't meant to be posted here can you copy the entity with this 90.000002 degree angle to a new drawing and post it for further investigation? BTW: Is the drawing completely drawn in QCAD? Something doesn't add up here ...
