Inserted element very remote from reference point
System Vista Home Premium, QCAD version 2.2.2.1 Having created drawing sheets to various scales, I have reduced them to blocks for the library, using the bottom left hand side of the sheet as the reference point, but when reselected from the library and inserted into the window, the block is extreme...

Minimum file size for saving
Operating system Windows Vista Home Premium. QCAD version 2.2.2.1
Does QCAD only save files above a certain size? I have created a simple logo, because the latest version 2.2.2.1 no longer supports jpeg images. When I try to save it, the saved file is empty.
Am I doing something wrong?

JPEG images disappeared and not importing
I have previously created and saved a series of drawing sheets with an imported logo. The logos have disappeared from all the templates and I cannot now import the original JPEG image. Some time ago I upgraded to the most recent software to avoid crashes when opening files. Is this the problem or is...

Thanks for that Peter. Actually, Andrews reply worked because I changed the drawing colour to Red in preferences and it opened in Red in AutoCAD. I suppose one can then change the colour to what you want thereafter. Someone posted a reply to a similar question a little while ago and made a series of...

Insert a building block into an OS map
I have successfully opened a DXF file of an Ordnance Survey and want to insert a building from file that I have created previously. However, having created the block of the building, it is imported at a scale hundreds of times bigger than the map although the measurements still scale the correct dim...

dxf files are not visible in AutoCAD
Having created a file in QCAD in dxf format, it will not open in AutoCAD. There is something there, because the crosshairs pick up a dashed line for each component of the drawing but becomes invisible once the cursor moves away. I was lead to believe that QCAD files were interchangable with AutoCAD....

Merging a drawing with a drawing sheet
I have been unable to merge a drawing onto a drawing sheet with a title panel. How is this done? At A3 size for example, do you create the title sheet at A3 size or at the size of the original drawing as a separate layer, so that the whole is reduced to scale as required. Surely there must me a draw...
