Did as you suggested, cleared the Firefox cache and loaded the commands in your post. Lots of output (too much to quote here I think) but end result APPEARS to be that QCAD 3.0 is installed. Now all I have to do is get it to start! Do I always need to start from Terminal - if so what command please?...
