I'm running 2.0.5.0 community edition from the debian repository, with a 1280x760 screen resolution.
When I draw a circle, it looks like a tall oval on the screen. The aspect ratio ends up being about 1.33! The same thing happens with squares.
Is there any way to adjust this? The monitor I'm using doesn't have a lot of display modes.
I'm also running qcad 2.2.2.0 professional on a mac, and things look fine there, on the same monitor, via a kvm switch. The resolution there is 1280x1024, which isn't a choice in the debian kde program. Any ideas?
Thanks

You might have more chances to find a solution to this in a Linux / Debian forum. It should be possible to force your monitor to show a decent resolution in which pixels are shown more or less as squares.
If your screen resolution shows pixels as rectangles and not squares, circles will indeed look like ellipses.
