Request - Centerline Cross Creation Tool ...

Post by Husky » Tue Aug 13, 2013 9:15 pm

Yes I know - I'm lazy but maybe not only me .... ;-)

It would be nice to have an "Automatic" tool to create a Centerline Cross for circles and arcs.

I could imagine to click on a tool button - click on a circle or arc - give the values for the overshoot and the orientation of the Centerline cross - and done! 8)

If somebody has already a "Centerline Cross Creation Tool" or is able to program one for QCAD it would be highly appreciated if you share this tool with the community in this forum

Definition of task:
Tool
- creates Center cross lines for circles and arcs (ellipses?),
- Line attributes dependent on active Layer,
- Option-box for overshoot setting,
- Option-box for orientation setting,
- not as a block,

I would do it by my self - but I can't program something like that ...

... can you???? 8)

I just had to draw centerlines to many circles and arcs, so I support this request. Such a tool would indeed be very helpful.

Idea: The overshoot should be entered either by absolut value or in percent of diameter.
